AIIMS: PM Modi to Launch Projects Worth Over Rs 75,000 Crore in Nagpur

Nagpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch and inaugurate railway projects worth more than Rs 1,500 crore on Sunday. He also flag off the sixth Vande Bharat Express which will connect Nagpur and Bilaspur, and launch phase-I of the Nagpur Metro.

PM Modi inaugurates the Phase-I of Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg, covering a distance of 520 Kms and connecting Nagpur and Shirdi.

The 701 Km Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg – being built at a cost of about Rs 55,000 crore – is one of India’s longest expressways, passing through Maharashtra’s 10 districts and prominent urban regions of Amravati, Aurangabad and Nashik

PM Modi inaugurates Phase I of the Nagpur Metro rail project, lays the foundation stone of Phase- II of the rail project, which will be developed at a cost of more than Rs 6700 crore.

PM Narendra Modi also takes a ride on Nagpur Metro from Freedom Park to Khapri, interacts with students. PM purchased his ticket at Freedom Park station of the Nagpur Metro. Earlier PM Modi flags off Vande Bharat Express on Nagpur-Bilaspur route.
