Amratsar: Senior Shiv Sena leader Sudhir Suri dief after being shot at Amratsar. The firing took place near a temple in Amratsar, Where the agitation was going on. Suri was taken to a Hospital, Where he was declared dead.

He said that the situation in Amritsar is fully under control. The accused has been arrested. About the Incident, He told media persons that Sudhir Suri was on a sit-in protest over a dispute of Gopal Mandir management. The assailant has a garment shop there. He fired bullets from his licensed .32 bore-revolver, some of which hit Suri and he was taken to hospital immediately.
Earlier, Amritsar CP said that Shiv Sena leader, Sudhir Suri was shot outside Gopal Mandir, Amritsar during some agitation. He sustained bullet injuries & was rushed to hospital and died. Accused arrest, his weapons recovered.
